What is your shipping policy?

DOMESTIC: We ship Canada wide (coast to coast to coast).

INTERNATIONAL: We recently added shipping to the United States (non-APO, FPO, and DPO only).

What is your cancellation policy?

Since Mystery Adventure Club currently does in-house production, we begin our packaging and shipping process on the 20th of every month, that way we are able to have your order prepared and ready to be sent closely following your renewal on the 1st of every month. Therefore, you must cancel your subscription before the 20th of each month. If you fail to cancel your subscription before the 20th your renewal will be processed and you will receive the next box, you can cancel anytime after that up until the 20th of that month.

**We do not offer refunds outside of extenuating circumstances, if you feel you qualify for a refund please email support@mysteryadventureclub.ca

**Please note gift subscriptions are not eligible for cancellations or refunds. 

What if my kids can't solve the clues?

Like all great mysteries sometimes we need to seek help elsewhere. For every box we've provided a help guide that will be emailed to you after the box has been purchased. If you have not received a cheat sheet you can simply find one located here.

What is the age range for these mystery boxes?

Our mystery boxes are appropriate for kids between the ages of 6-12. Kids below 6 can - of course - try the box, but will require adult help/supervision. Please be aware there are small pieces that can become choking hazards.

Are there requirements for where the boxes should be used?

Our boxes are fairly portable, you can solve our mysteries at the dining room table, inside of a pillow fort, or in a super-secret treehouse! There are no indoor/outdoor requirements for our boxes. However, you will need internet to check your answer once the mystery is solved, so make sure that treehouse has WiFi. 

Is the Mystery Adventure Club for boys or girls? 

All of our adventures are loads of fun for everybody, no matter how you identify! 

Are the adventures scary?

Nope! We believe that mysteries can still be lots of fun without being scary. (Don't tell anyone...but one of our head detectives is kind of a scaredy-cat, and if they can do it so can you!) 

Can you work together to solve a mystery or does it have to be by yourself?

You can work with anyone you want! Invite your siblings, friends and family members to solve the mystery with you or fly solo and work those detective skills!

What if my box is missing a piece? 

We're all human (with the exception of some Mystery Adventure Club characters), so mistakes can sometimes be made. If you receive your box and are missing a piece listed on the inventory sheet, just shoot us an email and we'll be happy to send you a replacement piece! 

Is each box a continuation of a story or totally separate? How does it work?

Each box is an entirely different, wholly contained adventure. The concept of the Mystery Adventure Club stays the same, so you do not need to follow along in a chapter-to-chapter format. When you subscribe, you will automatically start at Story 1 and continue from there,  however there is no need to take notes or remember anything from the previous box in order to solve the subsequent mysteries.
